How This Tiny Country Feeds the World

The Netherlands, or Holland as many people know it by (difference explained here), is a relatively small country that ranks 135th in the worlds landmass rankings. Apart from their already tiny landmass they are also one of the most densely populated countries in the world. They too they also have to furiously battle their seas, and even had to reclaim some land back from the sea, to get themselves a bit of much needed space!

Despite their disadvantages, the Netherlands is actually the second largest food exporter in the world, second only to the United States. Last year they exported almost 92 billion worth of food. How they do it? A variety of reason of course, yet, one leading theme: Technolog, technology and, more technology!
